What to expect at a kitten’s first vet visit

Getting a new kitten is a very exciting time. Ensuring that they are healthy when you get them and that they remain well is of up most importance.

In this video Dr Glenn, with his new (and naughty) kitten Guppy, walk you through what a kitten’s first vet visit will look like.

Taking your kitten to the vet at an early age, generally first visiting around 6-8 weeks, allows you to learn about your kitten and their health needs. Your vet will be able to give them a full check up and let you know if their are any health concerns they can see. They will also be able to offer advice on everything from what vaccinations they will need to discussing litter choices, diet and time for desexing.
