Any behaviour that is displayed with the intention to get your attention can be considered attention seeking behaviours. Your attention may be as subtle as just a glance.
Attention seeking behaviours may look like:
- Vocalisation – barking, whining
- Jumping up
- Pawing at you
- Scratching – themselves or something else
- Tail chasing
- Stealing items
- Any behaviour that has got attention in the past
