Staining Around My Cats Eyes

My cat always has browny/red staining around his eyes, what is this from and how can I clean it off?

There are a number of products available to help remove or clean the reddish-brown discolouration around the eyes that is caused by Epiphora. To help remove the tear stains you could use a tear stain remover or pre-moistened wipes.

Also available are some supplements or powders that you feed to your cat which will help prevent the tear staining discolouration from developing.
